Antibrids & body tracing / LESSON 07
Winter tech: performance study
A continuous performance study of grid tracing, antibrids, and linked flow. Drex demonstrates combinations without a spoken technical breakdown or named move chapters.
Prerequisites: Body tracing cranks · Hand tracer boxes · Basic antibrids
Video study
Use the source for this section’s grip changes, body position, and depth.
Schematic motion. Body proportions and finger contact are approximate; compare with the source. One cycle = 6 seconds at 1×.

Steps
Before you begin
- Grip
- The staffs are visibly held near their centers. This performance does not explain thumb/pinkie orientation or grip transitions.
- Stance
- Drex shifts weight and turns between front, side, and back-facing positions. Treat these as observations, not a prescribed footwork drill.
- Plane
- The performance changes orientation and depth. A single flat path diagram would omit essential information.
Things to notice
- Treating these editorial viewing windows as Drex's named chapters or formal move taxonomy.
- Inferring an exact grip transition or three-dimensional path from a single front-view frame.
- Using an advanced performance clip as the only instruction for a new component.
